MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA – The State Government of Victoria, Australia will highlight the state’s technology ecosystem by partnering with leading tech conferences Intersekt and CyberCon in 2024.
Intersekt is Australia’s largest fintech event by FinTech Australia. It will return to Melbourne from Wednesday, September 18, 2024, to Thursday, September 19, 2024.

It is the largest cyber conference in the southern hemisphere by the Australian Information Security Association.

The event will also host over 160 industry leaders like Google Cloud, Microsoft and Palo Alto so that attendees can explore cybersecurity solutions.

The government seed-funded the Cremorne Digital Hub to upskill the tech workforce and foster entrepreneurial startups.
Moreover, it supports startups through LaunchVic and invests in Victoria’s cybersecurity infrastructure.
The state will also host the first Fintech 50, a pitching extravaganza where 50 companies will have 30 seconds to present ideas to investors.
Nowadays, Victoria is home to nearly 400 companies with over 25,000 employees. Also, it houses five fintech unicorns: Airwallex, MYOB, Judo Bank, PEXA and Zeller.
